The double-sided EDIsecure® XID 570ie Retransfer Printer was
developed for industrial needs and is ready for plug and play inline
encoding and lamination. The printer delivers the right combina-
tion of reliability, performance and affordability for printing more
secure, more durable ID cards. It almost achieves offset print qua-
lity without a blemish even on the challenging, uneven surface of
smart cards.
The XID 570ie prints on a variety of card materials including
long-lasting, durable non-PVC cards such as ABS, PET, and
Polycarbonate. The spacious card drawer stores up to 300 blank
cards to secure an ongoing workflow process. The user-friendly
front-loading system with replaceable cartridges for the color rib-
bon and Retransfer Film makes changing of supplies fast and simple.
For further demands on card functionality, optional magnetic
stripe and smart card encoding is possible. Extend the life span and
security of your cards by joining the printer with the EDIsecure® ILU
or OLM for single- and double-sided inline lamination. The XID
570ie is a long-term investment as it is field-upgradeable to higher
versions at any time in order to provide even more functionality.
Chip encoding is now as easy as magnetic stripe encoding with our
Advanced Chip Encoding Framework (CEF), a powerful EDIsecure®
XID5xxie printer toolkit that encodes independent of your ID
application. It provides the integration of multiple encoding
technologies through an easy-to-use plug-in tool. It is now possible
to encode smart chips from nearly any software application that
allows variable field data in a layout.
